Beam Deflection

I think While ur Blocking and u begin Deflecting a beam while deflecting u should start to absorb the Powerlevel of the beam itself and even if u fail to deflect the whole beam itself the beam would explode right ?

well if u start to absorb the power of the beam then it shouldnt Explode at its full potential ive noticed that people spend ages trying to deflect and beam and in the end they die trying to deflect a beam

While deflecting a beam the hud would change and appear like this

it would have the Powerlevel of the beam on the eft hand side and show the Chances of u deflecting it on the right

on the right if u win on the deflection bar then the power level on the left wouldnt actually matter

but if ur deflectign and u kno u cant win and be able to deflect it then if ur looking on the left and the Powerlevel of the beam reaches 0 then u should absorb the whole beam itself and u should take damage

Deflecting a beam would be normal

but instead u would also absorb the attack at the same time

if u fail to absorb or deflect the beam thenu should take damage but not at its full potential u would only take the amount of damage left on the left

if ur power level is 800,000
and the remaining pl of the beam on the left is 400,000 then u would only half of ur pl would drop

this would improve Deflection of beams and prove that trying to block a beam near an obstacle isnt pointless and will help decrease the amount of damage done by the beam

I think the blocking and deflecting system is fine as it is right now, the only thing i would like to see changed is that ifyou lose a struggle the beam overpowers you and it pushes you along with it. Like when vegeta lost the struggle on earth between himself and goku. If the beam catches you off gaurd then it should explode, but if it overwhelms you or is much more powerful than you it just swallows you. Don't even know if it's possible.

how bout when gohan first fought fat buu, got nailed by a beam and it carried him a long way. doing damage to him the entire way with him screaming in agony untill shin detonated it. should be possible.

That would be cool, but not all the time..
Like a 45% chance that would happen, and only if the beam is far too powerfull for you..
If you see things like that too often it loses it's.. uh.. coolness.. :]

And about the absorbing an attack, wouldn't want to see it put into the game when you play normal characters, but perhaps if they add android 19 (?) and that dr Gero android..

How about if ur trying to deflect a beam it will still hit u back except it wont hurt u and wont explode

how about this

the stronger the beam the faster it will push u and the weaker the beam the slwoer it will push u

while its pushing u when u begin to hit a wall or obstacle u will begin to get damage as the stregth of the beam crushes u into a wall

while its crushing u u will lose 5 - 10 hp every 2 seconds and will inflict serious damage while the pure Pain of u beign crushed in a wall will make ur Ki begin to drop slowly

To deflect it it will be the same except

the Bar on the right willl indicate how fast the Beam is pushing u showing

Blue as fast
Red as slow

While ur trying to block if u turn on ur Turbo then u will put more power into ur blocking hands and it will Make the beam start to push u slower but only as like a bonus when u run out of ki ur blocking will become weak and show urself a weak spot.

showing that when u run out of ki and depleted out of ur energy ur blocking will become only Half of what it used to be so it will even be harder to deflect showing that turbo isnt always a good thing

the more powerlevel u have the quicker u will make the beam stop moving so fast

If u die from crushing damage the Kill would go to the person who fired the beam but after u died the Beam would hit the Wall and explode killing anyone around it

If u do use Turbo it would only give a 50% Bonus which would only last a certain amount of time depending on u and how much ki u want to save

while deflecting there would be no middle because if there was then it would get soo bugged u would get stuck i nthe middle and no one could win

This is also where i could introduce a new Attack which will be called the Deflector

and attack which is often used by Piccolo to deflect Beams from gohan

It could be a fast charging Particle Kind of Attack which looks like a Beam u have just Deflected

It would charge fast but the power level of it has to be at least 100% or more u can use Turbo to increase the powerlevel of the beam and if it is fired at enemies it would make a small damage of like 1 - 5 damage

it would Be fired at attacks to try and deflect them away from u at an angle when it hits an Enemy attack if it is weaker the enemies attack would absorb it making it stronger or if it is stronger it will begin to Move the enemies Beam away

if it is a beam or any attached attack then it would turn it into a Small Energy Ball of some sort

this would be usefull for self defence or other wise Helping Team mates

if the beam is coming directly towards u and u fire in a straight line towards an attack then it would hit it back at the enemy at a normal SLOW speed and anything in its way would make it explode

the deflector energy Attack would take Probly Half or ur Normal KI because it would help stop spamming

You're suggesting a whole system change just for a block struggle. You have your own Ki system in there, struggle system. All of that is unnecessary, and I'm positive the team isn't going to change that much.

Just a simple change, if the beam overwhelmes you (you run out of ki) it just envelops you and carries you on it's path, until you finally can get it off of you(similar to getting up after running out of ki), you die, or it hit's a wall.
Plus that whole the beam goes slow here and the beam goes fast here doesn't sound good. Becuase if a beam has the power to carry you, it's not going to be a slow beam.
