Ok little bit of a fun fact. The only time when Batman actually kills somebody and the game just goes on with it like nothing happened, besides the accidental throws into an abyss or an electric fence is in Arkham Asylum.
In the section where you have to save Cash and a doctor there is a thug hanging from a rope that you have to knock down in order to proceed. He falls straight into happy gas but the game designates him as k.o..
That is if that gas kills. Only reason I asked.
