According to leading astronomers, the world could be struck by an asteroid in the beginning of the year 2019.
The asteroid called 2002 NT7 could, according to calculations, strike on February 1, 2019 and has reached the highest score on the astronomers threat-scale. Discovered on July 5th this year in New Mexico, the asteroid is believed to be so large (a little less than a mile across) that if it strikes it will lay continents desolated and kill billions of people.
The asteroid will be closely studied in the future and will hopefully go down the threat-scale when further calculations has been completed.
