Asteroid Will Hit Earth In 2016!

On my clan site there is news. I went to my clan site one day and there was a link to a story and i went in to it. What i saw scared the **** out of me. A legitimate news site posted a story about an asteroid that WILL not may but WILL hit earth in the year 2016. It has only enough power to destroy 1 continent, i hope its not north america. While scientists dont know exactly where it will land( hopefully far in the ocean) they do know it will land on earth. The only way it wont hit earth will be if they somehow redirect it or shoot a missile at it.
