Another steam thread

Is it just me or is it harder to target somone with melee in steam? I dont mind steam and I actually kind of like it, but it seems really hard to get a target. I dunno if its me or whatever, but could somone just tell me if there having a problem like htis, and if they are, is there a way to fix it?

I think it's because of lag...Now, go to edit and delete the first post.. there are a lot of steam threads already started .

Well, its not becuase of lag since i was playing on the pt server with 50 ping. And everyone i asked ingame said they had a hard time targeting people too so i know its not just me.

The other threads are either about installing steam or a addon to steam (like yours) so im not going to deleate this one. Me posting this on a thread like that would techinicly be offtopic.

Hybrid, maybe you're getting the same similar problem everyone gets in the Stargate server. Take about 5-10secs to target the guys with good ping. I know PT was not like that when on WON, but it may have caught this "target-lag" disease =\.

well theres really nothing u can do about it cause its just something that happenes with steam

yeah exactly,,, i am usually on a server and then i have a ping of like 20 (!!!) but still if the character that i want to target doesnt stand still i cant target him....it is just a bug...

its not only in stargate its also in thegamezone annyway my steam just stopped working and says their is something wrong with the program or something

Its in every steam server for esf. There may only be three servers, but it still happened to all three of them.

Yes, i have excactly the same problem here, but as far as i have found out steam is causing it, i wasn't enable yet to test it on a lan, but if some one could it will prolly show what is wrong...

as of now i just can't play on steam because it takes ages to target some one...
