annoying esf mp3 player problem :(

i have deleted all the mp3s that came with the game and put my Xzibit on, along with the edited playlist to play them. it worked fine so i decided put more mp3s on. i got 20 tracks from the new eminem cd and converted them to mp3, renamed them to numbers according to the track number eg. 1st song is called 1.mp3 2nd = 2.mp3 etc... and edited the playlist (i'm sure i've done that right)

now when i go on esf it doesnt start playing. when i push F8 then click on the play icon it doesnt play. i have no way of playing any of the tracks in the esf mp3 player

does anyone know wat is wrong?
i think these might effect it?
1) i have 20 mp3 files. (is there a max number of files u can put on?)
2) they have numbers for their names(eg 1.mp3)
3) some of the songs r about 2 seconds long.

ok we;'re getting somewhere....
when i joined a server i opened up console and it said something about a "unknown mp3 formation" or something... i didnt know there were more than 1 format of mp3? wats the probs and how do i fix it?

I think they have to be in the 128bit format.
