Anime Forum Section?

Considering the fact that a large number of our forum community are anime lovers, and since ESF is based on a mod which is technically an anime ( even though we love to call it a cartoon ^_^; ) - I was thinking of bringing up adding an anime forum section in the next team meeting.

If the team agrees, it would:
1.) Help promote our forums even more, indirectly promoting our mod.
2.) Give the anime-loving people a place to talk about new releases and discuss various anime series.
3.) Put a bit of a load away from off-topic.

So, would YOU like to see an anime section added to our forums? Please vote on our poll now!

A role playing game (involving fictional storyline) would be more suited for the Fan Fiction section, I think.

Could be yes or no, it has its ups and downs. IT could weed out some of the threads in off topic, then again peopple would be posting links to torrents left and right..but thats what moderators are for.

I don't watch anime so I'm not voting, it's up to everyone else.

yes it might trigger some warez talk but then again the pros outweigh the cons and that's why the moderators are here. I think we should have a section for it.

Don't worry about the warez factor.

1.) The section's description will hold the first warning.
2.) A sticky will hold another, also linking to the AUP.
3.) We have moderators for a reason. :0)

HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAI i hate searching the offtopic section for naruto based posts =P so i think it would be great to have a anime section, since ppl would not only come on the esf forums to talk about ESF, but also about just normal animes which means there could come more members on this forum...and maybe...potentional future players =P

Since 'Anime' in general has potential for many many many more posts and much more popularity than fan-fics, I'm going to try to push for it's own section under General. All depends on what the team votes for in the meeting though.

I'm going to vote no . . . Anime works quite well in off topic, requiring no special section.

I also see no reason to include it in general, since it fits under off topic better than General about the mod. Further, an anime section will invariably draw talk of downloading episodes . . . an uber nono on this board.
