yay, looks great, but it can never beat Rome: total war. But i will buy it. It wont work on my pc now(AoE 3. Rtw works great...with low graphics), but my dad buy`s me a new one in christmas or in february 2 2006.

Rome total war is running suprisingly good at my computer... but thats offtopic..

I think this game is going to rock though, better then total war... but that is everybody's own taste and choice.

Apparently, 9800 Pro's will barely be able to handle it. That's a rumor going around.

I heard that on the HL2 preview trailer on gamespy or what ever... lol,
I think I wont get that game for a few years.. As excited as I may be, Im not going to get it becuase,
A)I wont buy it untill price's drop allot..
B)I'll ALSO need a new GFX card, +RAM, +Ghz, Another 80gig HD, Which will come before the game.. Those 4 will take me about a year or 2 to get.
C)HL2's mod's and Expansion packs will be better then AoE 3.... for me...

Well, I'm impresed with those graphics, so far this is the best i have seen in a strategy games. But do a strategy game need that kind of graphics? I'm questioning myself - what kind of PC did they use to render this in realtime?

I'd rather have performance then visual's.. I can barelly play Rome: Total War with my 9800... Well I can run it decently.. but... I can only imagine playing AoE 3 on my current machine.....

I'm speechless...this is the only game I could consider upgrading for. Well not so much upgrading, but getting an entirely new computer for. I love the Age of Empires series, and this could not possibly let me down as long as it keeps up the standard of the previous ones(which it most probably will). Can't wait!

isnt there a rule that you cant revive dead threads?.. I think the life span of a thread after no one posting in 15 days right?... this thread died 5 days ago =O , anyways, I wont be gettin this game... I'll be busy playin PS3... becuase thats when I'm assuming around the time the AoE 3 will be coming out ..

Umm, threads are considered dead if no posts have been made for 1 month.

I don't think AOE3 will be as far as 2006-2007, you can expect it for Winter 2005 I say.
