About steam its kinda wierd

uhm when i installd it to steam and i wish to play it i get the screen of esf 1.2 and then it says :could not load library c:\valve\steam\steamapps\nantaku\half-life\esf\cl_dlls\client.dll

if anyone has any id's about solvin this problem i would like it so plz help me


btw:the mod kicks ass :laff: :laff:

Question: I'm on Steam and I can't set my server name, max players, or password!
Answer: Download this and extract it to your esf directory.
Default Steam path: C:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\(Your Steam E-mail Address)\half-life\esf

Yours would be

c:\valve\steam\steamapps\nantaku\half-life\

Although nantaku isnt an email

Well is that your steam folder?

Also do you have a steam account, if so put in your full email, not username.

well i did it like this i made my account and i clickt on half-life then they needeed to install halflife so i clicked yes the there stoud earth special forces so i clicked there 2 so it has been installd

Search for your ESF folder and put in the full path to ESF.

OR load up steam and click games, then click Earth's Special Forces Twice.

i know how to start the game but when i am at the begin screen i am gettin the error

Gah, I am so sorry...I was given you the fix for the server settings.

Question: Whenever I try to launch ESF I get "could not load library ...\half-life\esf\client.dll"
Answer: Download this and save it to your Half-Life directory. If you already have a fmod.dll in your half-life directory, overwrite it.

Try that then Will work.
