Bihal,
People have told me that but It just doesn't make sense. Alright, I join a western server, where my ping is around 120 - 160 at best. (I never player in those, I hate that ping) And all the keys are delayed. Especially teleport,

The 0.1 seconds may be true in other half life games like Counter-Strike and DOD, but there is something about ESF That makes it extremley laggy. It's one second.. realistically, but it's probably meant to seem like 0.1 seconds.

As for the teleport lag, I didn't really understand what you all were talking about untill Sonic Boyster explained it. It's weird, I hit people like that all the time, after I hit them, they somehow teleport up or something im like wtf?

um 100 miliseconds is 1 second 10 mili = .1 sec
dont let the mili fool you
surprised no one else say this
and yeah there is a slight delay but not that much. if u were pinging 200 id say it takes 1 second
count it yourself on a clock or a stop watch 1 sec is a big deal but my ping is always about 80- 100 and my lag is small but gets in the way for those fast reflexed fights.
not to mention 20-25 fps doesnt help on a cable modem and everything from the sticky didnt help at all. anyone know of some safe tweaking stuff?

ChaosPriest, milli means one thousanth.

.1 = 1 tenth = 1 decisecond
.01 = 1 hundreth = 1 centisecond
.001 = 1 thousanth = 1 millisecond

0.001 * 100 = 0.1 seconds

I didn't reply to Raiden because he said that it didn't work that way for him. Fine. That still doesn't change the fact of how long it takes information to travel between you and the server.
But
1000 milliseconds = 1 second
and
100 milliseconds = 0.1 seconds

Whether you want it to or not ChaosPriest.

Ping is measured in milliseconds, and how Bihal explained it is correct, a ping of 100 is .1 seconds, not 1 full second. Computer delay adds to that, you were assuming that your computer can display that as soon as it got back to your comp... which doesn't happen.

On Topic = And the 1.2 teleing seems just fine to me, cuz I never use it ;)

People playing ESF have no idea how to take time. Everything goes so fast that people think a .1 second delay is half a second or a ping of 300 means everything is a second off when it isn't. A full second would be enough time to teleport 7 times, which is plenty for anybody.
