a question to the people that have spiderman 2 ps2 version

does sp2 on the ps2 have slowdown's?

and which version is better

gamecube or ps2

gamecube im assuming has better gfx but yes it does slow down some for me at parts, but thats either cause its loading a new part of the city or its my ps2, it lags at one battle in kingdom hearts final mix =P its just from my modchip overpowering my laser a lil but all in all my ps2 still runs goodthe game could also be part of it since i "backed it up" or its just the game itself

i never played the GCN one but i have the ps2 one, and i love the controls, id say rent them both (sounds stupid) and try them both out and then buy the one u like best =).....

PS2 controllers are fine, I played it at a friends house. Although I own a copy on my very own Xbox.

/me is a huge advocate of teh Box.

actualy the ps2 has the best graphics out of the 3 systems

for what ever reason on the xbox version there is no reflections in the car windows so all the car windows are total grey where on ps2 and gc its reflective

dont ask me why i have no clue but thats like the only difference between the 3

Get the ps2 version over GC. However Xbox should have better results.

I own the PS2 versions. I completed the story (though not beat the game 100% yet) and have experienced NO slowdown, and I played all three versions at EB, other than the reflectiveness, i noticed no different graphics, except spidey's tights seemed brighter on GC for some reason >_>.

I have the GCN version since im a nintendo fan. Well in all honesty the controls are fine... i have no problem with it.... id have to say its sorta too easy cuz no matter what your doing even if your in the middle of an attack you can dodge... so i guess the controls are fine dunno about ps2
