A good anime

It could be fighting, action or w/e.
I'd Njoy animes similar to these: Blassreiter, Blood+, Slayers, Naruto, Dragonball, Samurai Champloo, Basilisk, Samurai 7, Rurouni Kenshin, Claymore and Berserk

Slayers has a couple of sequels, I'm currently watching Next and it's pretty good.

Some obscure stuff that you might not find otherwise are Escaflowne (Cross-genre mecha-medieval adventure) and Outlaw Star (Space Western?).

Full Metal Alchemist, Full Metal Alchemist: Brotherhood. Bleach is definitely worth it as well, although you should stop as soon as the filler arcs start. Fate Stay/Night is an awesome 25-ish episode anime.

Tokyo Babylon was nice to but lacked a proper ending. Its said to be a prequel of X though ^^

 

[God Gundam]

Blade of the Immortal, Guyver (2004 version), 3x3 eyes, afro samurai, Bakuretsu Hunters, Bastard, Elfen Lied, Hokuto no Ken, Vampire Hunter D + Vamp D Bloodlust, Vandread, Tenjou Tenge, and Seikon no Qwaser (although its currently airing) are all good ones to work on, though Hokuto is a bit long, you can also pretty much just watch the movies to understand whats goin on.
