Okay, a few questions.

This fight club thing. I'm a writer, so it might be good practice now and again. How does one join?

Also--are you doing like, two normal dudes fighting...DBZ style fights...Matrixy type stuff...or what?

Just curious. I read the rules but a quick summarized version of them with emphasis on these questions and the way the fights are decided would be cool too. Thanks!

Read the Fight Club HQ thread that's stickied here in off topic. That should have all your answers.

Anyone can fight in the fight club, the method of fighting is entirely up to the challengers and the referee. Kaiju match? Sure. Matrix fight? Yep. DBZ? Why not? This is ESF after all ;)

Fights are judged on your reputation (located next to your post count, the more popular you are, the more likely you can hand your opponents ass to him.), but more importantly it's judged on how well you wrote your story. Make it entertaining, make good use of the venue.

On that note, be fair to those you fight in the club, make them look good. A match isn't interesting if you slaughter your opponent.

You want a good fight right?

Well that is usually my aim. The fight stinks if one dude dominates. That's actually why I'm not that good at ESF despite having been around so long (Since Alpha 2 at least). I don't care about winning, I care about having a good fight. hehe.

Well then...you don't have to do anything to fight? Just announce you challenge someone? It's not like an exclusive club or anything?
