if it crashes, then its a system problem, not software, since if it were software, discreet would have fixed it ;)

and like i said in the other thread. refer to the image, there is a button in the material editor that looks like a chequered box, it displays the map in viewport.

-woot lucky!!!!

now i can see it in perspective!

-bleh, i can only see it in perspective.

edit. got it. moving on.

how do i rotate the view in perspective?

having trouble lining them up.

edit-omg i'm so lost, it looks like a lego penguin with horns...
i'm on the first aprt where you take the cylinder and wahtever....

omfg. How the hell do i get it so i can see my reference AND the faucets/mesh/wareframe whatever. its either one or the other and i have no idea what i'm doing. unless its on smooth i cant see my reference image, how do i fix this?

if you right click on the viewpoint name i.e front or perspective,, theres a list of options ... the images should show up if smooth + hightlights are selected. If not check see whats selected....

I have the options ,,, smooth + highlights, wireframe , other etc........ just fiddle there.

Its most likely a simple stage that your missing guys

it doesnt HAVE to be on facets+highlights, having it on smooth is ok, i was just using facets to help people see the wireframes.
