360 view of Mars

This is prob a dumb question, but did anyone ever actually land on mars?

I dont think so, but I noticed something interesting.

Mars may still have an active core, unlike the Moon. The big difference is Mars has no faultlines on its crust, thus volcanic activity is minor and far inbetween.

I believe Mars is already terraforming itself... but I may be wrong.
