I recently reformated my comp, I've done this before but this time I can't remember how I got my sound to work. The card is in and everything (I don't touch the insides) but she isn't working by default, I'm guessing I need drivers or something, but which ones? I don't know what kind of sound...

I get sound when I log off and on windows, those chimes that are played. Occasionally I'll also get sound back if I restart a few times but usually stops after 5+ hours. I checked the drivers as well, It says there are no errors and the drivers are functioning properly.. Edit- Found out...

Sorry if this is the wrong section to ask, but is there any good ePSXe emulator sound plugins, coz the current i have are very bad quality (for examp.) When i start Chrono Trigger and it shows intro, it doesn't play music and sounds.;/ The same with Breath of Fire IV. :(

Is there a way to tweak your sound card or the bios or the programs that a sound card comes with, to make things even better? You can do that with a video card and I thought you might be able to do that with a sound card as well.

well, out of no where about 2 days ago, my sounds started lagging and whenever I play world of warcraft, I'll do a quick millisecond lag spike, go for 1 second, then another split second lag spike, go on, and idk. It goes on. For the laggy sound part, I made a .wav of a song (Bopple Bubble)...

Just got my new pc, never had a soundblaster card before, a bit curious how exactly i get the sound to work. I plugged it in as i did with my old pc and nothing, the sound device is working properly, anyone care to help here? I use a headset. I got it working thanks tho, close please.
