I keep playing half life 2, do i need 2 play half-life source? because my game wont install after i have already played half life2 and im confuzed

I downloaded the full version but at the install screen where you chose the folder you want the file installed to, the install button is grey. I can't click it. I have it set to install to C:\Program Files\Valve\Steam\SteamApps\SourceMods\ESF. What am I doing wrong?

Hey for some reason, when i go to install 1.2.3 it get to the part where it says "Click Install to continue" Well the problem is it wont let me click install its all grayed out. So does that mean i have to dl all of the versions and install each one?

i downloaded the full version of esf (esfb123) this is the first file on list under the option FILES. I can´t install the file because the install button is not to choose please can somebody help. THX
