I just installed esf alpha 2.0 (just for fun :laff: ) and whenn i want to run the game there comes an error message: Could not open libary:......(adress) client.dll What should i do?

whene i try to play esf it says canot find librery and on the bottom it says that it cannot read client.dll and its there but its hiden?

I have Half-life 1.0.0.9 installed and when a try to play ESf 1.0 half-life show this menssege: could not open client.dll and close the ESF..... plese someone help me!! whats happening Report this

when i go into esf, and try to either create or join a game, it gets about half way through the loading, stops and says: HL HAS CAUSED AN ERROR IN: CLIENT.DLL HL WILL NOW QUIT or something along those lines... anyone got any ideas for me? It worked fine 2 weeks ago... P.S. it is not...

Well when I try to start a game and press go....is loads then says, CAnt find library client.dll...then i go to the folder but the client.dll isnt mission.....please help:cry: ;(

could not load library D:\HALFLIFE\esf\cl_dlls\client.dll i get that, i looked at ther directory, the file is there, and everything's exactly the same as it it's staed in the error, this is beta 1 btw

I dont get it, i installed half life, then i installed ESF and everything whent perfectly so when that was done i started the game and in the menu i activated ESF but when i try to create a game the game crashes with the message 'cant open client.dll. If some one knows a solution please let me...

I need help!!!!!! When I go to join a game it begins toload and then it goes back to the net games screen and an error message occurs saying that it couldn't find library: c:...counterstrike/cll_dlls/client.dll. I checked and the client.dll is there so why the hell is it screwing up...

No, it's not the video mode thing with spirit bomb and what-not... but after a decent while of playing, usually while hosting a server, ESF crashes. I think maybe changing my heap size might help, but if anyone else knows what problem I got, please let me know. People can use spirit bombs...

my brother just got a new comp and he put Half-Life and ESF on it but whenever he trys to join or create a game he gets an error with the client.dll file i never got the problem so i dont know what to tell him

Ok, I'm a n00b, and I really enjoy the game, until it crashes. I went into a game by myself and found that whenever I attempt to use spirit bomb, HL closes. I'm not 100% certain this is what is causing me to crash in multiplayer games, but it sure does when I'm alone. Any ideas on what the heck...
