Bots joining as Spectator. Please Help

when I add any bot in ESF it joins as spectator and never leaves that can anyone help?

You can use "kick [Bot Name]" no brackets just the bot name case sensitive, to kick a bot. Type this in the consol.

that wont help ALL THE BOTS join as spectator all the time and never join the game....

Zack, if you have a MoTD for your server, get rid of it, the bots get stuck there.

ohh ok......... I think MoTD is that thing you have to click ok on right yeah I have one but how I get rid of it

go to server optoins when you host a server, then go to advanced, and select 'force spawn'

that way noone can spectate, you will be, well, forced to spawn, lol

ok tried that, all the same they are still spectating I think it is that MoTD thig but how I get rid of it

Remove the motd.txt from your ESF directory. You might want to backup it.

what i did is I just renamed it to "motd(1).txt" .. so it's like deleting it and keeping a backup copy!

BIG PROBLEM I have never had a motd.txt in my esf directory.......:cry:

also Mr.Satin my listenserver thing loos like this....(and I have a cable modem)

well .. how about u r using a costum map that doesn't have spawn entities?!?! :p

are you sure u don't have motd.txt ?!?! what if u do have?! :p search more :p or use windows search and look for motd.txt

i don't think server configrations got anything to do with this :S

I am having the same problem, but i know i have a motd.... so ill remove it and edit this post, to let you know what happened! :)

*EDIT* Yea it was my motd... i removed it and the bots came in spawned and played... although there quite stupid... its still a good way to practice pounding the crap out of someone :D

ok I have absolutly NO motd.txt in my esf folder and I have no custom maps....
