Youtube = spyware?

My question is: Why must you turn every thread into a political statement? This is about Youtube and how it has the potential of having spyware implimentned into it, and yet you turn it completely around and make it into a political statement about China.

Personally I loved youtube before it was bought out. So far nothing has changed which is good (not that I've seen anyway). But I have a feeling that someone is going to create a new video site similar to it.

I have seen more and more ads on youtube lately... might be just me though.

It's always fun seeing the underdog win but now it's just a giant and it's eating it's competators....

Web browsing habbits to sell to advertisers I assume. Regardless what the information is, they shouldn't be collecting anything.

I agree whole heartedly, but they don't need my information for advertises =/

I mean what the hell, there's absolutely no logical reason for them to put spyware in youtube, or any other google owned site.

That's why i RECORD videos off YouTube, not download them. Just get CamStudio, choose the piece of the screen u want to record, in this case the vid, and just record. Much better than downloading.
