I searched for "crash", didn't see this mensioned.

P 400
256 ram
64 vid

ESF used to work ok on my cpu, but now whenever I try to connect or create an internet or lan game, durring the connection the game eventually stops and gives me an "out of memory" or "Hl illegal op" error and crashes to the Desktop with the res stuck at 800x600. Joinin a lan game, sometimes it crashes strait to the Desktop, not error message.
I have the newst version of HL and I tried re-installing ESF, but no dice.

DMC, CS, & HL all work fine, but ESF doesn't.

Make sure your video mode is set at OpenGL or Direct3D. You can also try to delete the playlist.txt file in the mp3 dir. This will stop the mp3player.

If you want ESF to run properly you're going to need to uninstall it, update your HL, and re-install it colpen.

Darksun, your problem could be a number of things make sure you have your latest drivers, make sure you have the latest DirectX. you might want to use only OpenGL, it's the best video mode.
