It's been a loooong time.....
So what's with the incredibly drawn out task of verifying my steam account? I've been a member forever now, and it literally took me like 5 minutes to find it, and complete it. Not to mention this account was still linked to my first e-mail account ever through excite from like 10 years ago LOL....

haha, thats what i saw and thought, what the ..

Anyway the verification is brought to the forums as a tool to distinguish the legal half-life owners from the cracked version (steam - non steam etc).
It should easy the job of support once the game is released. As of now its also a prerequisite to enter the help subforum (if that is still in place)
