Hey guys.
I got some very ancient documents I wrote more than 10 years ago with Word Perfect from Corel if I remember correctly. But these days I'm on MS Office 2007. Do any of you know any good converters that can handle e.g. wps or wpd documents ? preferably no shareware pls.

*yes: the internal Word converter doesn't give any good results.

Try to open the files in Wordpad or Notepad and then save them as txt files? I don't know if this counts as anything, but I created a wpd file using Notepad and I was able to open it with both programs. :S

Well if opensource counts, use Open Office. It can open both MSword and WPD files along with ****loads of others.

Here is its compatibility list for text files
