In Windows XP there is a sort of a shadow behind the text, unlike 98, which I am using.
Is there a font that I can download and have the Windows XP font type?
Or is there anything I can do to change it to the Windows XP font type?

I am sure it is part of the coding in the XP os. So if you are running 98 you wont be able to get that effect on your desktop.

well, if you look hard enough, you might be able to find the shadow effect on a font.. but the shadow is lame anyways, and it makes the text hard to read

You can do it to any font in Microsoft Word (in a parody story I wrote, a friend and I fuse, and I used that to represent our "fused voice"). I don't know about in the OS, though.

I have been looking for a font that looks like XP, but to no avail I haven't found it.
What do you guys mean about the OS, is there a way to get a shadow?
