whoops sorry about that i meant 3.1 guess ive been thinkin about esf beta 1.1 a little too much lately hehe.....sorry,(i have esfbot3.1)

I doude it... when i played ESF on my simple Half-Life (not steam)
they didn't fight back until i installed EVM... Strange! but then they started to fight back melee and teleport...

Maybe on steam it always works fine... i don't know becouse i installed esf 1.1
with steam patch and installed on it EVM too and it works fine...

Check the ESF Bot Webisite for how to install bots everywhere. EVM, metamod etc.

k.. here we go... first of all you must make sure you didn't install the bots before you installed EVM becouse EVM won't work....

then
you install EVM Server pack...
after it's done - go to your ESF folder... (exp: C:\Sierra\Half-Life\esf)
find the file 'liblist.gam'
then make a backup from this file....

now download these bots...
ESF bots 3.1 (exe file)

Install them to your ESF folder (exp: C:\Sierra\Half-Life\esf)
now get to esf folder and replace the file 'liblist.gam' with the backup
we have just made before installing the bots...

now click on Earth's Special Forces' shortcut with the right-mouse-button
and choose 'Properties'... do you see the line where its written 'Target: ' ??

get to the end of its line and add there the next line:

+localinfo mm_gamedll dlls/esf_bot.dll

For Example: C:\SIERRA\Half-Life\hl.exe -console -game esf +localinfo mm_gamedll dlls/esf_bot.dll

Now run the game... and remember! if you wish to play with Dragonballs
so before you creating a server get to the advance options of creating server and choose in Game Mode 'CTDB[Extrenal]' or something like that...
