What if that experienced player has almost noone who can beat him? Not saying I know noone who can beat me, but I can name a few who are almost not-to-defeat.

And yes of course, if you lure them into a 500 ping server I'm pretty sure you can handle them, but it's about the point.

Thats easy. You have several options: 1) Quit playing temporarily
2) find someone who is as good as you or better. If you cant find anyone while playing, post in the forums about it.

or 3) become a teacher/master. I LOVE doing this, its fun and f*cking hilarious! Try to teach noobs how to play. I let them try to figure everything out on their own but help them with any questions. I let them go SSJ while im regular and all i do is dodge their moves. Its pretty funny when a SSJ cant hit you when your not even trying to play. As we are playing, i critique them. For every few hits they get on me, i give them one in return. When they are good enough that you cant dodge them much anymore, fight them. If they are beating you b/c they are SSJ, then go SSJ until you whoop their but. After whooping their butt go back to regular.

It sounds stupid but its very entertaining. I just love backflipping over n00bs as they swoop down trying to melee me then me meleeing them in the back. Its pretty fun, haha.

oh yeah, and option 4) play with characters you normaly dont play with and try to get good with them.

and finaly option 5) play in the EVM server against SSJ2/3's and kaiokens...lol. Its fun and EXTREMELY difficult, but it helps. Until one of their kamehamehas destroys the WHOLE map :shocked: lol

In otherwords, when we reach a certain level of skill, we can't play anymore? We have to sit and teach all day? Show mercy to every single person worse than us so that the ESF community thrives? I'm sorry but that sounds like a crock. Especially when half of that community HOWs, beamspams, and calls me a cheater.

*sigh* No one asked anyone NOT to play anymore. It's completely your decision, and your decision alone, as to what you want to do in-game. Granted, it couldn't hurt to help someone out if they ask for help, and if you are more than capable of providing tips, you should do so. However, you have to realize that there will be people like that, and people who aren't like that. I, for one, will let you own me 6 ways from Sunday and not ask how you do it, but if you were to take on someone else and they ask you for some pointers, what's the harm in sharing a few? If you pride yourself on not "HOWing", or beamspammming, why not fire off a few tips how to avoid doing that? No one expects you to stop playing seriously or competitively to teach people how to play ESF 24/7.

And, no, no one expects you to stop playing ESF when you are better than most others, as I said, it's really your choice alone as to what you want to do in a server. Nothing can change that. However, there is never a need, in any situation, to develop a chip on your shoulder when you are a really good player, it just doesn't help you at all, and it will actually get you a harder time finding people to play against, I find.

Its up to you to choose what you want to do. But being an a$$hole will only get you so far, ya know? Have fun and enjoy the game, but its up to you to figure out how to do so.

And yeah, i get the "Your cheating!" or "Stop Spamming Kiblobs!" alot. Its very annoying b/c a) just b/c im better than you doesnt give you the right to call me a cheater, and b) Shooting Kiblobs after a melee someone is one of my strategies...you can do the same thing so stop *****ing and find a way to counter it. (that was actually my first strategy, i have A LOT more and have matured as a player).
Anyways...if people are saying that...then just ignore them or come up with a new strategy. Whats always fun to do is just stop attacking the person who is doing that and attack the rest of the peeps in the server, but when he comes to hit you, just dodge his attacks, melee him and then be on your merry way. And when you have time say to him "Hey, why cant you hit me? Im not even trying to fight you..." That gets them really irritated! Muahaha!!!
