Why are all the servers i see like 100 + ping.

Like i used to have every server like about 70 - 80 ping now its 100+ man wtf?

well it all depends on where the servers are located. if the servers are the same and youre ping raised on it then youre isp sux
they are the ones to blaim then

We're currently allocating bandwidth on our new isp for scorched earth so ping is about 20 higher than normal which brings it up to 90-100 for myself. Can't speak for the other servers though...

suggestion......................if your worried about ping being that low than just create your own server where your pings is zero.

My ping's been going up in ESF latley too.. I ping about 20 in other mods, and 100+ in ESF... WTF?

hay thnx m8 lol. and i wasnt realy knocking australia lol i just ment its such a bad place to b if u wanted to compeat in any world tournys in any onlinegame and stuff cuz most them r held in the northern hemispher and were miles from anywhere lol. calm down lol

I have noticed this trend too. In servers that I usually ping sub 90's and 100's - I am now up to 120+. Tonight I was on the PT server I think, and getting 60-70. Its weird how it seems like my ping has gone up on all servers though! Scorched is still fun to play on as always

The pings are so high nowadays because all of the good servers have taken their business elsewhere. I suppose they didn't feel like catering to such an immature community. I know I wouldn't want to host a server for the people that play this mod. I can't go into a server without seeing an argument pop up over something stupid somewhere at some time or another. In Specialists, I have fun. In ESF, I get hassled because I can play better than most. The community's sucked the fun out of the game, and then it wonders why there aren't any servers around but the ones where the hosts kick you out because you beat them, whether it's under their rules or not.
