(on-topic) Although I am not a big fan of Spiderman, i would have to go with Carnage.

'Spider Carnage was the ultimate evil according to madam web.

All together, spiderman was his own worst enemey, nothing was more evil then when he transformed in a spider. Carnage and venom were allright, but their weakness to sound made them a bit less cool imho... I liked the vampire saga, forgot the name of the vampire queen but she was a pretty good vilian too..

I'll vote for carnage since it's most close to spider carnage.

Oh something else, kingpin should be up there too... not that he was the best, but he played an important role

Blah...can't give a valid opinion here...I'm an X-Men fan, and as far as I'm concered Wolverine would rip any of the Spidey Villians apart. hehe.

Although Wolvie Vs. Venom or Carnage would be a wonderful fight to see.

While 1m4 is technically right, Venom is still an antagonist . . . my favorite at that.

He reigns supreme over Carnage's primal lust for destruction with well thought out character development.
