well now that i think about it, i dont think it will matter what your speed is really, so many ppl are going to be downloading it all at once when its release, sonot much Bandwidth is going to be avalible fo everyone to get max potential from there connecting (ex: My DSL going over 100 kb/sec) so everyones gonna probably have around 10-15 kb/sec max.

Unless of course a server has wicked good bandwidth...

well i always use my 56kb modem for home and downloading things but for this special mod that is going to be released im going to a friends house that has dsl! ALRIGHT!! so ill get it in no time. hope they put a bittorrent up

I've got cable. I was living off 56k for so long, I'd never be able to go back to it.
I usually get about 300-350 kb/s from servers that don't cap rates, but I can just imagine how many people are going to be downloading 1.2 at once. O_O
