Majin_You, you know what I like . Story is #1 for me, then character development/interaction, then everything else except visuals.Originally posted by Majin_You
Mine would be:
a)The Story (this makes or breaks an RPG for me. I don't care if the graphics were so realistic that you couldn't tell the difference between your best friend and the main character, the story would have to be just as good)
b)Replay value (I love RPG's that make me wanna come back and play them again, because they usually have the best stories, characters, etc.)
c)Comedy (I love it when there is trifling little insults between characters, or very witty comments made, it adds to the story in a sense that it helps the players relate to characters.)
I prefer a good game of D&D, though it is hard where I live to come up with a "good" DM. Only thing I don't like about D&D is that combat always seems to take over, or should I say take the longest part of most adventures.Originally posted by Cucumba
I'm a big fan of pen and paper RPGs, they are infinately flexible and open ended, as well as never ending. Video Game RPGs simply can't compete. That being said, I always prefer a good plot and some decent character development.
When you play as long as I have, most players and DMs are like well oiled machines, though my eternal rage compatriots are a bit slow at timesOriginally posted by Majin Krillin
