Go into the console :notice: type: cam_idealyaw 0 :notice: press enter.

If it continues to happen add it to your config file via text editor.

Actually, you should create a file called autoexec.cfg and put cam_idealyaw 0 in there!!

Yeah U can I managed to do it but ill look into it.
I did something to my cfg file and i type in sv_zoom xx for the zoom.
try it without editing the cfg.
It might work.

There was a look around alias/script running around on the forum for 1.0. It consisted of switching to the 8 directions by using the cam_idealyaw to cycle through the degrees. Fairly ingenious, though I never tried it.
