What is better (preformance wise)

2. Nvidia GeForceFX 5600 vs. Nvidia GeForceFX 5900 (Ultra?)

3. Results of #1 vs. Results of #2

I think you make it sound a little too simple, there is no reason to overclock your videocard if you don't need the speed. Overclocking can possibly damage it, make your system more unstable, and reduce the life of your videocard. If you still want to overclock it, read into doing this safely first.

There is rarely any reason to oc a video board. In one cenario, your machine is ancient, and you have no cash. OC the card, and hope it survives. In the other, you have a $5,000 PC and nothing you buy for it will make it faster. Time to push that envelope.

If you don't fit either of these, and you OC, you're just going to get a few frames and put yourself at risk of a major outage. I don't know about you guys, but my machine has no spare parts laying around.

There no reason to do that since you can run anything on that card with everything set on highest O__O.

And u risk your card just to push card and just gain like 2 fps :/?

And another thing XT is just like 2-7% faster...so.....

anyways I wouldn't pay 200 dollars more for 2% more speed
