what directery does the 1.1 patch go to

hey guys i got esf 1.0 i downloaded the patch for 1.1 what directery should i send it to because i tried lettng it go to where ever it wanted and it dident work what folder do i put it in and how should i do it thanks alot i know im a dumbass ^_^;:cry:
