Personally I think the one in ESF looks better as well.

you guys arent understanding, its not the way the sprite and model looks, im talking about how the ball starts small on the tip of his finger so the user can actually see! then when he lets it go, GETS BIGGER, like its suppost to! so thats what i was trying to point out, guess i should been more clear

I believe that's a model, too, not a sprite. Making sprites grow is a little trickier than making a 3d model grow.

no its not, just more work, its easy actually, just lots of sprite files, each frame a few pixels larger in diameter...

....ok? well i just think that in esf its sorta hard to see after u get the deathball fully charged and if u go into first person it gets stuck sumtimes....plus i think it just looks better so......
