if you duck to dodge a beam it will hit you anyways, it wont do jackall. just a waste of time and effort to get models accustomed to ducking would be pointless

but if he fires a beam, i duck he controlles the beam back to me i zap towards him and then when the beam is about to hit me i zap away and then he kills his self.

someone pointed out they used ducking for flying downwards while looking elsewhere. i dont miss it.

yeah with duck you can fluy down without looking down
its very handy in fights

Well maybe if in thew melee system duck might be useful. Also right now, when your flying and you press Ctrl, you should move vertically down. It would be a lot easier then to press f then press it again.
