URGENT HELP!!

Every time i try to join a game. It says Cannot Continue without Script events/melee sounds.sc/disconeccting

what do i do

meh I've seen this "bug" before and I have no clue what cases it but the fix is easy

just goto
Steam\SteamApps\account@name\half-life\esf
make a new folder called events, open it and make a empty text file called meleesounds.sc

it should fix your problem

If that doesn't work try deleting the esf folder then reinstalling it.

I made the file but noting happend is the text file spose to be a text document?
