they are going to destroy it .... how many new ideas can they come up with every year? wanna know why Metal Gear Solid IV was so epic .... they took their time to make it, and it wasn't part of a series that came out every single year guaranteed. look at how Horrid COD is now ... they ahve so much shit in there now it's retarded playing. they just don't know what else they can do so they keep adding shit instead of actually changing how things work or any aspect towards the style of the game.

they should wait until they actually have innovative ideas and have done a lot of brainstorming towards creativity ... ESPecially for a game like Assassins Creed, which HAS to thrive on the difference of each and every game. bringing something new.
CoD is not retarded.. only if you think so .. for people who play it often they can CLEARLY feel the difference in gameplay, which weapons to use, when and how. I'm not one of them though.

HOWEVER, in AC I am..
I can CLEARLYYY feel the difference between every version... what you're capable of doing, which counters, when and how etc.. gameplay changes a bit, however, the combat sequence is SUPPOSED to be the same.. I don't get how people disagree on that.

I still see (not 'say', see) that no one likes him. "I rest my case".

I still am seeing nothing validating Desmond's existance. All he is, is yet another generic reluctant hero.
You know there are people out there that flat out hate Ezio. I mean really hate him. Don't know how anyone could even think that but hey there are a lot of people with opinions out there.
Stating no one likes Desmond is just pure and utter BS.
I like him for the generic reluctant hero that he is because 1. He used/wanted to be a average person, he was working in a freaking bar mixing Martinis, and now he has been living 2 lives of other people and learned their abilities to become a mass murderer. Yeah I bet everybody would be a fantastic character in a situation like this, not to mention that he was starting to lose the grip on reality and spoilers killed somebody he started to care for.
2. He only has what 2-3 hours, didn't count them exactly, worth of screen time, and dialogue in all 4 games, and for those hours he could have been so much worse, but he became better as the games progressed, i think he was at his best in Brotherhood. But even if he was a bit bland in the first game I never hated him.

So there you go, my validation of his... (by the way it's) existence. He's not my fav but I like him for who, or better said what he is as a character.

I like how you can't accept the fact that people like things that you don't.

I like Desmond, also you'll probably play him soon. He's a bit dull at the start O_O. He does things for the Assassin's order in his own way.. in order to become an actor I suppose he needs to learn about the past.. and since he has such "awesome and knowledge-ful" ancestors of the greatest asassins such as Al-tair and Ezio who both had great impact on history (according to the AC series) he's an important key if he wants to be a successful assassin himself? (He's gaining an insane amount of combat experience AND knowledge this way)

Hate Ezio as well. Bring back Altier I say. Drop the uneeded future nonsense and give us more of the reason we bought the games to begin with.. assassinating people in the past without the guns, if I wanted that, I would play Deus Ex.

EDIT

I like how you can't accept the fact that people like things that you don't.
I like how you can't come to grips with reality.

Are you ******* serious, dude? I've seen you do this about other things, too. It's absolutely hilarious how you can't comprehend how not everything you say is right or are things that everyone is going to agree with.

You did not play AC R, did you. Sorry man Altair is eeerm well dead... in a chair... so what role he had.... is.... well over. Like a real character he had a lifespan and now it's over.
Oh and by the way in the newest Deus Ex you can assassinate people without using any gun, in fact if you know what you are doing you can play the game without using any guns, unless you need to shoot objects.
Also I like your ridiculous notion that you think that what you say equals reality.....:laff: I dunno why Damaera is so upset about it, you're just like THAT guy that's on every forum in the world, and I've been in a few. Every forum has people like you, like me, like Damaera who are a stereotype of a sort. I still have not figured out what to call each of them though.

You are now my favorite e-person!
However, Altair was a boring character in AC1. I loved him in Revelations, accent and all.

The newest Deus Ex is garbage.. boss battles? Really? Look at the previous titles, it's a game about choice, not forced action sequences. It's the same reason Splinter Cell: Conviction was trash. All of a sudden, because of console players, you're required to make it so instead of being able to think your way through a game, all you need to do is hold down the trigger and suddenly you win? Pointless, if I wanted that, I would go play any of the number of fps's in this overly saturated market.

On the note of me playing AC R, I have. If you haven't noticed we live in an age where prequels are just as common as sequels, if you need proof look no further then the Zelda series.. they haven't made a sequel since Wind Waker (that was on a console instead of a handheld). There is no reason a game can't be made that happens after the events of the first and focuses solely on Altair.

Lastly on the bit about my ridiculous notion that whatever I say/think is correct, you'd be wrong on this. I know that I have been proven wrong on countless occasions, across many different mediums. I also admit when I'm wrong when I have been proven to be so, as I'm proud enough to admit such a thing.. a rarity among people now a days. That being said..... No one likes Desmond.

Ever heard of the word "sophistry". It's almost spot on to what you are saying. A statement that apparently is correct, but in reality is false as it has no proof behind it. Let's hypothetically say that 2.000.000 people all with different personalities, opinions, likes, dislikes, etc. have played all 4 AC games. Are you seriously telling me that all of those people who have different opinions about absolutely every detail of the games have the exact same opinion of a character? I don't think that even the most communist of communists made such a wild assumption about people.

I'm being the realist here, even if I myself have no physical evidence of my statement that people have mixed feelings about Desmond some hating him as you said, others liking him, others being indifferent about him, mine however represents human nature better, and that is that we as humans are different in more ways then one, especially in opinions about things, people, characters etc.
So no, there is no such a thing as "No one likes Desmond." Unless you have been playing us and where just saying that ironically/sarcastically to express your opinion(which by the way is somehow proof of my statement as it is wildly different from mine) like some people use to say: "We never liked him anyway!"
