I watched the CG talk forums and i was again amazed about the work there and.. im just owned and so i felt inspirate to make something again :D well i wanted to do a cg with fire/ice and with an angel there. but then i had another view to it x_x loool you know me :p aint you?

anyway i would be happy for feedbacks and some comments :)

i used only normaly brushes from photoshop and i used smudge everything else was only 1 effect: radial Blur i worked on it like an hour :D

nice stuff, i think the noise is a little over the top, but other than that its pretty nice, maybe you cud add a border too..

Try it without the noise, I think it would look alot better. Maybe sharpen it a little.

the background sucks but the effects pretty cool.

i like the swirling energy... sbc type thing on the left.

That deffinitly is an improvement over the first one.

there are alot of white dots around the blast...i suggest you blur them or add a outer glow to it so they dont just look like simple dots X_x, it looks nice but....could be more spectaculair, i mean, the blue beam looks nice, but it could use some more effects

for example...go to the blue beam layer (if you still have the psd X_x), duplicate it and use gaussian blur 15...(well...you dont have to do 15...>.<) then use hard light, or...linear light..maybe lower the opacity a bit..depends on what you want..anyway, it makes the blue and white in the beam stand out more and look more powerfull

Yeah, nice just the noise is a problem, makes it look like something of a bad video rip.

why dont you just make a starfield for the background and see how it looks?

you have the psd right
