Trying out my tablet...

bought it a few months ago...and i had a few problems with it..till yesterday i decided to try it out again and just have fun.
this is what i came up with =D

impressive,nice work.altough the guy his legs seem abit short,could be me.

thats because he is bending his knees, kind of squating, and from the angle you look upon them they seem short but infact they are not.

right ?

uhmm i wanna ask yo somethin ... ya used a tablet... for shure u used photoshop... for shure u used the basic brushes but did you draw a concept befor? I mean something like a ref? Because it looks very... (points at the buddy whos surfing)... uncommend.. like you drew him right away without any refs...

wellllll... i actually DID made a ref for that char, front and side, i also started modeling it but the proportions sucked...next time ill match my real proportions and draw a new one.

ive been drawing "myself" in that style for quite some time...
but...Dj^Swift is right...theres nothing to do with that drawing to any refs

i copied that from the Budokai Tenkaichi's model concepts but overall it's just for practice ^_^
ill probably finish it today ;P just taking my time heh

i dont like it much though, im cool with it...it's..big... but i would suggest you to get a wacom, i heard it's the best!
ask around what version or something cause i dont understand much in that ^_^"

I have a Wacom Graphire 3 and it pwns. No batteries required for pen (i hear some tablets need AAAA batteries O_O) ^_^. also, it meets its expectations, but i havn't really used it for much besides for fun, but one day O_O.

Anyway, great stuff you're doing SV! I see you already have gotten used to painting and the tablet can increase your skinning skill!

Also, how much did you buy it for SV?
