Trouble Getting into On-line Games! Help!

I'm having trouble getting into/creating games on the net. Whenever i try to enter a game, I'm authorized with the Wonid, but right after it says "Connection Accepted by...", My game completely freezes, so I press ctrl+alt+delete resulting in the game not responding. I have reinstalled the game twice, being successful only once briefly. I just don't understand...:cry:

Make sure you have the updated graphics card drivers installed.

Make sure you're using openGL video mode with a stable resolution.

But I know it has nothing to do with my graphics card or my video mode, because when i first installed esf, it worked fine. So I have no idea how to successfully get back into a game..
