They were either testing EEA (see http://forum.esforces.com/showthread.php?threadid=29604), or EVM (http://forum.esforces.com/showthread.php?threadid=28222), both are addons for ESF that add transformations along with a few other new features, to stave off until ESF adds them officially, or so I gather.
