Throwing and perpunch defence

OK so i got the 1.2 version and red the manual. I playes with bots and i can't find a way to block throws or prepunches. I hold down the primary mose button during throw and nothing happens. The struggle meter just goes up to "losing" point and i go flying. Just when i get lucky and the bot runs out of KI i hit him. Help plz!!

You cant block/stop from being thrown :/

However I havent tried blocking, but I dont think it would help.

when someone tries to throw you away and the bar pops up...if you hold your left mouse button you slow it down and drains the opponets energi that is trying to throw you away..and if he runs out of energi you get loose.
