Dude its just a suggestion.. I mean like in The cell Saga Goku did his Kameha / Tele against cell... In ESF... Good luck.. You kill yourself...

I think if the Tip hits you it goes through you <the head of the beam> Im pretty sure it can happen.. Bullets go through people in cs.. And then the beam hurts you like a Ki Blob After.. Until it hits a wall of coarse..

It would help a lot.. Because I hate people melee flying after me then I shoot at them by the time they get close I end up hurting myself then he kills me with the Melee..

I really think when you enter a beam battle.. and the beam gets close to you.. instead of blowing up in mid air.. it should push you back.. like.. keep pushing you back until you hit a wall, like it would in the actual DBZ, I think that would kinda be the best thing, instead of the beam going like.. around you and hitting a wall or something.

Yes, I agree, And putting a whole through them and keep going doesn't seem realistic to the series either.. if it went through them, it killed them... That simple really. And killing people, along with yourself, at close range with powerful Ki blasts.. well... Looks like you gotta practice abit more.

I agree, they should tone down the damage done from the explosion if the head of the beam hits the person, cause obviouly theyd be absorbing almost all of the force. If ur really close u should be hurt and thrown back but not nearly as much as the person who just swooped into a full strength Final Flash. It should totally devestate them. Im not saying get rid of the explosion, cause ist useful to kill multiple targets, just tone it down if the head of the beam hits ur target.
But say if u shoot a kamehameha but the beam hits the ground or wall(not an enemy or friend) it should explode like it does, thus enabling multiple kills.
So you could choose between large radius of damage but weaker damage, or incredibly strong intense damage but localised to a target. You see?
This would be much better than the current game.

Well if you have like 10 heatlh left and you get hit by a frieza beam or generic beam it would be sweet you see someone die of the injury.(ahole in the chest)

Or if your hit by a bigger beam like Final Flash, Kamehameha you just disintergrate.(Sorry for my bad english)

Maybe they should make it so you are hurt less from your own beam explosions. I mean have you ever seen a character hurt themselves when they perform an attack very close to themselves. Look at Vegita in the Coola Returns or something movie, he fires a big bang about 10 feet from him and is unscathed, but yeah I like that you should be pushed back awhile before you go boom cause it’s a real pain in the ass when you both die from a PS.

I reckon it should be like this under the circumstance that some1 is close to u when u shoot a big beam:
If they are much weaker than the beam it causes them to disintegrate.
If they are much weaker than the beam and block it, it pushes them back fast until they lose and then it has an explosion and they disintegrate.
If they are slightly weaker/same strength/slightly stronger(i will refer to this as the s/s/s from now) then they will be pushed back with the beam, being hurt continuosly(like ki blob) and they can attempt to free themselves from the head of the beam by block struggling and using lots of ki, if they dont manage too in time(say 5-10 seconds) then the beam will explode and they will almost surely die.
If they are s/s/s and they block then they would be pushed back quickly until the bs was decided.
If they are much stronger than You it should explode on them knocking u back and hurting u (but only a small amount) and leaving them standing(but they of ofcurse took damage)
If they are much stronger and block then they will stand still and almost certainly win the blockstruggle and push the beam back at you, where it would simply explode and u would take 95% of the damage (cause the beam hit you and not the terrain)

Yah but then people would just keep blowing them selfs up..
like there on the ground they just shoot the ground with a fully charged final flash or kamahamaha and like the hole area would blow up..

Not that much less and besides its all easily solved by saying, if the head of the beam hits an ememy u take minimum damage in the explosion, if it hits terrain, damage from explosion is sorted evenly.
So if u shot it at the ground u would obviously take the most cause ud be closest to the explosion.

That sounds like a good idea there scooter, but... The thing I hate most, and think needs abit of changing or atleast looking into.. is when your standing on the ground.. You use a Kamehameha, or Final Flash(Any strong Beam attack really) And.. BANG, it usually explodes as soon as its shot, of course just making a Massive explosion everywhere around you.

EDIT - And More obvious then not.. Killing yourself in the process.

yeah i agree that pisses me off. And ive never seen that happen, Vegeta and goku stand 50m apart eying each other chargin massive beams.
Vegetas mouth quirks up at the side and he laughs derisively, "Kakarotto you cannot beat the power of my Final Flash"
Goku smiles secretively and his eyes flash, "Your wrong Vegeta, i have never lost a battle and im not about to start."
Both fighters now apepar to be growing and the ground upon which they stand is starting to quake and fall apart.
The crowd at the World Martial arts tournament has been stunned into silence and the only voices audible are those of two screaming women, Bulma and Chi Chi.
The other Z fighters wait with baited breath watching the final match...
The two warriors eye each other once more before, the throbbing veins on the forehead of there opponent are noted along with there stance and then with an incredible scream they both released there fully charged attacks...
There is no powerstruggle, just a flash of energy, and when the blinding light subsides there is no more vegeta and no more goku, just two puddles of blood and two slightly black looking cracks...
It is... a draw.

See never happens, yes a mod really should comment about whether or not the beams will be changed like suggested. Atomsk so if that minor glitch is cleared u reckon that my idea might work?
