well what do you think about it? i think 1 & 2 were the best 3 was kinda *** becaue he acted like jesus when he died but its a good siries what do u think?

Thats what this movie was mainly based on...it was based on the bible but made a lot of changes to what the directors believed, but i really liked it a lot. Made me think and was really great graphics n what not. So 5 stars from me! :laff:

The Matrix was very influenced by philosophical, psychological, spiritual, as well as religious themes. But to say that the Matrix was mainly based on the Bible is asinine

The original Matrix was great. A masterpiece.

Matrix: Reloaded, was one of the worst sequels ever created. It's just as bad as "StarWars Episode 1: The Phantom Menace.' The Wakowski Brothers will go down in history as horrible as George Lucas.

Matrix: Revolutions, was better then the second. It regained some of the magic the first had, however they completely BLEW it by, instead of providing a somewhat logical, plausible explanation for Neo able to use powers outside of the Matrix, they came up with the HORRIBLY vague, EXTREMELY homosexual answer "The power of one extends beyond this world!" or some garbage to this effect.

They didn't explain his connection to the Mainframe, or his ability to use powers outside the Matrix. Matrix 1=Great. Matrix 2=Garbage. Matrix 3=Better then 2, but still blew.

Matrix SERIES: Crappy, overall.

- If you happen to be George Lucas, you can finally rest assured that you're no longer the only person in history to ruin an almost impossible-to-ruin sequel.
- Trinity dies.

For some reason I hate the Matrix.

I really somehow dislike the whole movie.

Most of the time there just fights with the same old graphical effects.

what ever anyone of you think of the matrix, non other movie has a 3d efect so advansed as in the matrix.
even the games are on the limit of every other game in the world(and don't think about consoles, only the pc).
for example: the matrix online has the biggest level ever creaded and they just use 1 server for some 100.000 peeple, maybe more.
so there is no movie better than the matrix trioligy .

I've seen the first movie around 50 times, 2nd movie around 40... 3rd movie not so much..like 3 times.. (it will be more )

i'm just blown away by the whole series, I think it all totally rawks.

saying Matrix was influenced by only the bible is a bit dumb, since it also shows hindoism and taoism. not to mention all the spiritual and philosophical matters. it's based on a lot more than just the bible.

They didnt exactly explain how he could use his powers outside the matrix, but u could figure it out. He didnt really have his powers, he only had power over anything that was directly connected to the matrix. The spider things, etc.

The trillogy ruled but i think aleahs death had something to with the sequals sucking.

First one owned, second one was really good, but they used computer animating instead of regular special effects (no motion blur neo) that kinda sucked. The third one was pretty good but the end simply ruled. That was so DBZ!!! I didnt believe a dbz movie was even possible until i saw the fight scene at the end of the third movie. But thats for another thread.

Alright judge i get it lol. Damn i got it from the very first reply to it. So anyway ya whatever its based on...didnt really make sense to me when i saw it. Had to think about a lot which is ok i mean i like movies that make you think. Now i just like it cuz of the graphics n what not. Eh what can i say, im a computer freak. As some of you have seen my work and animation...i really love comp. graphics. :yes:

I agree with you guys as well. Excellent movies that got no fair credit.

Here's what annoyed me:

"Dude, you have to see the Animatrix! It's so cool! There's all this, like, biblical stuff in it, dude!"

(Few months later)

"Ah, dude, dont' even waste your time with Revolutions. It's so dumb. There's all this, like, biblical stuff in it, dude."
