So who will fight who do we draw numbers or r u gonna pair everyone up in random brackets?

Brackets are being made up now and will be posted later. We were going to do random brackets, but in an attempt for the tourny to be more fair, we tried to pair the first few rounds so they are even matches. In other words, someone like blackchaos who hasn't played in forever won't have to fight Ren in the first round.

Not exactly. We grouped players into three tiers and then randomized who fights who. For the first few rounds, players will only fight those within their own tier, but who they fight in that tier will be random.

Also, contrary to what I originally posted, it won't be single elimination but rather double elimination. Thank Trex for that one.

Tournament is over, first place was Ren, second place was Yugi. Congrats guys and thank you to all of those who showed. The tournament could have been managed a lot better and I apologize about that, but we got through it and I learned a lot about how to better manage these things.
