Hey.

Every time i open a folder, or anything, this thing pops up saying

"installing microsoft money 2002"
If i sit and let it install, it will say i need a disc or something like that.

Then it will crash my windows explorer...

its quite aggirvating, does anyone have a solution?
I didnt uninstall it, my mom was messing with the comp and after she restored it it started doing this crap.

tweaking the registry might help here. Serach to see if it left in reg keys around (system restore is very unreliable imo , iv'e seen people root their pc over from using it , although the some of the third part restore utilities i find a little better)

Stay out of the registry unless you know exactly what you are doing. I don't think this is a problem in the registry either. Look through the compact discs that your computer came with to see if one of them has programs on it that came with your computer and try to use that to install it. And if neither you or your parents use Microsoft Money, see if you can uninstall it completely.

you say your mum restored the computer? would that happen to be system restore on XP?
If so, try rolling back to the previous restore point, before it says anything about microsoft money.
