Swoop counters?

ok this is really pissin me off

everytime me a someone else swoop at eachother i always get knocked backwards mid flight right when we collide

theres even times when i swoop in at someone standing still and i have the right click held down and i get hit backwards

whats with this crap...is it some techniqe i dont know or are they just cheating...someone help me out

When you swoop head on to someone, the only way you're going to win, is if you have more KI stored in your bar. If you use up less than the guy you're fighting against, you will win the melee fight.

Thats if you swoop head on, if you hit on the top,bottom,or sides you will win reguardless or ki.
