Weird. It's always something when some guy's random predictions or imagination from the past matches something we discover.

Its only missing one element. CHEMISTRY DON'T FAIL US NOW! Quick:
1)someone figure out how to force fluorine onto its chemical makeup.
2)plant some and call it Tiberium
3)???
4)Profit.

YAY!! I just heard this on the news. It's said that this thing contains DEUTERIUM. That means that Serbia may have another source of electricity soon ^^

You know...deuterium is found in every sea. So it's not that special. Besides, the only use deuterium has now (as far as I know) is nuclear fusion, something we are not capable of doing yet, only the sun can do that.

Only thing that is stupid about kryptonite, is that it doesn't contain the element we call 'krypton'.

is it just me, or does that Goku look like Ken from street fighter?
The art style does resemble that of the SF comic books.
Wouldn't doubt that the artist had drawn this.
Also, yeah it does look like Ken in Goku's gi, shouting "HADOUKEN!"

It's just a real mineral that happens to match the formula they picked for the movie. It's an interesting coincidence at best.

Yep, but try calculating the amount of energy required to extract it, and compare it with the energy needed to extract the deuterium in this kryptonite or whatever. Big difference.

What?! NINE THOUSAND!?

Yeah, then compare the price of seawater to this rare, never before seen mineral.

It's rare as of now, who knows, there might be more of it. Since it's recently discovered we have no idea how much of it is there.

Dan, there's a reason it wasn't discovered until now.
