Hey guys I like the pictures of ESF but I can't play it? I have Counter-Strike I installed the MOD into that folder and it went to the HL folder which is fine so I installed Steam did a whole lot of downloading etc etc double clicked on the 1.2 ESF icon I get the CS start up go to custom refresh the list no ESF to install??? Any help would be great appricated.

They need to put a sticky here on how to install the MOD if people have just HL or CS full directions for noobs like me the path it need to point to etc. You have to look though the forum for pieces of the puzzle just to get this game going!! :\

Hey thanks for the some what help I saw that guild, If you read my post EXACT directions where do you install Steam? Default install? I have Counter Strike a MOD to HALF LIFE... Where do you install ESF the default install?? I don't think so... I MEAN EXACT DIRECTION!!! NOT THIS, DO THIS, THEN THIS THEN THIS ****!! Give me the folder level of where this game installs to and Steam. O_O

ESF 1.2 is made to wrok with Steam. Get steam at www.steampowered.com. Otherwise, you can run in on WON by installing it to c:\sierra\counter-strike or wherever you put your CS retail install. Same thing for regular half life.

But I have counter-strike do I need to update CS....patch? :S

If you installed ESF into your counter strike folder before you installed Steam that's why you're having problems. Reinstall ESF directly into Steam now that you have it installed and cruise the help section for additional information.
