steam! WtF??

I joined a game.. and this is what happend: I came in.. saw the ground, and then the game just shut down.. it happens to almost every server.. what is wrong??

what graphics mode are you running in?
try using opengl if you are not already.

I use openGL.. this problem has never happend before.. it start happend yesterday..

the magical system restore in windows XP can fix many things (if you have XP)

Does it say hl.exe Error? I have that too on certain servers.

it doesnt say anything.. the window just close..

What events relating to your computer took place between the last time it was working and the time you first ran into the problem? Did you change any files? Did you install a new game? Did you update your graphics card drivers?

no.. didnt do anything..

try to go to Windows Update and find some updates. Or try to install esf again.

I have the same problem with some servers!, game just crashes :E
come to think of it, my friend got the same problem!, hl.exe is kinda "not responding"
Im really amaized if u come to think a solution to this one

It's just a problem with ESF that will more than likely be fixed in the 1.2 patch. It happens to me from time to time. Just quit, kill hl.exe and try again.
